Part of our world heritage

In 2023, the Viking fortress of Trelleborg and the country's four other ring forts—Borgring, Nonnebakken, Fyrkat, and Aggersborg—were added to UNESCO's World Heritage List. The ring fortresses are recognized as unique examples of Denmark's rich history, telling the story of the Viking world.

Free ride

Throughout the season, you can take a free bus from Slagelse Station to Trelleborg. Bus 909 runs every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It returns from Trelleborg half an hour later.
