From August 11th to 30th, Trelleborg is putting an extra focus on our international guests. Throughout this period, our daily program will be conducted in English. Naturally, everyone is welcome, both Danish and international guests.

Program

Activities run from 11:00 to 15:00

11.00 - 15.00:

  • Bag flatbread (1 coin)
  • Weave your own Viking band (1 coin)
  • Engrave your name in runes (1 coin)
  • Make your very own leather coin purse (3 coins)
  • Paint with the Vikings’ colors on mini shields or sheets (1 coin)
  • Vikings’ shield colors / 3 different sizes (3–5 coins)

14.00 - 15.00:

  • Archery (5 shots - 1 coin)

11.00 - 15.00:

  • Viking games by the longhouse Topple a Viking, bone throwing, three-in-a-row and the Hel Horse

13.00 - 13.45:

  • Free guided tour in English (Begins at the Museum terrace)

Activity coins cost 25 DKK each.

Practical information

  • - Free admission for children under 18. Save 10% on your summer entrance ticket by purchasing your ticket online before arrival. The museum is closed every Monday except Monday 13 July 2026 during the annual Viking Festival. Note: During the Viking Festival (11 July – 19 July 2026) admission is 50 DKK for children under 18 and 150 DKK for adults.
  • - Free parking at the museum
  • Take the train out to Trelleborg and continue with our seasonal bus 909, which takes you back to the Viking Age every hour from Slagelse Station, completely free of charge. See the timetable via rejseplanen.dk
  • Some of the activities require activity tokens, which can be purchased in the museum shop. See the program for more information.
