Summer with Viking crafts, warrior training and the glow of campfires. During the summer holidays, Trelleborg is transformed into a giant Viking playground.
From June 26 to July 10 and again from July 21 to August 9, you can try everything from archery and flatbread baking to shield painting and free warrior training for the brave.
Program
Activities run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
11.00 - 16.30:
- Bag flatbread (1 coin)
- Weave your own Viking band (1 coin)
- Engrave your name in runes (1 coin)
- Make your very own leather coin purse (3 coins)
- Paint with the Vikings’ colors on mini shields or sheets (1 coin)
- Vikings’ shield colors / 3 different sizes (3–5 coins)
14.00 - 16.30:
- Archery (5 shots - 1 coin)
11.00 - 16.30:
- Viking games in Udgaard (free) Duel with Viking swords in the village Topple a Viking, bone throwing, three-in-a-row and the Hel Horse
11.30 - 12.00:
- Free warrior training by the fence facing the Viking village
13.00 - 13.45:
- Free guided tour in Danish (starts on the terrace)
Activity coins cost 25 DKK each.

Prices and opening hours
- Free admission for children under 18. Save 10% on your summer entrance ticket by purchasing your ticket online before arrival. The museum is closed every Monday except Monday 13 July 2026 during the annual Viking Festival. Note: During the Viking Festival (11 July – 19 July 2026) admission is 50 DKK for children under 18 and 150 DKK for adults.Parking
